ELC is intended for networking and collaboration.
We value the participation of each member and want all users to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Accordingly, all users are expected to show respect and courtesy to others in all events, communications, and activities that take place on the Gradual Platform.
To make clear what is expected, all platform users, speakers, sponsors, organizers, and volunteers are required to conform to the following Code of Conduct.
The community organizers and administrators will enforce this code.
ELC is dedicated to providing a positive and harassment-free user experience for everyone, regardless of age, gender, gender identity, and expression, sexual orientation, disability, personal appearance, body size, ethnicity, race, religion, nationality, or level of experience. We do not tolerate harassment of users in any form, nor do we tolerate any behavior that would reasonably lead to another user being made to feel unsafe, insecure, or frightened for their physical or emotional well-being. All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of many different backgrounds.
Examples of encouraged behavior that contributes to a positive environment include:
Unacceptable behavior includes:
Be kind to others. Do not insult or put down other users. Behave professionally. Remember that harassment and sexist, racist, or exclusionary jokes are not appropriate in this community. Each user is entirely responsible for their own actions.
